Supply constraints are generally due to 1) lack of available land suitable for development and 2) regulation of development including typical building codes, zoning laws, HOAs etc. but up to the point of height restrictions, historical districts, banned materials, requiring solar, and even outright bans on development.If you look at where high rents often beget the desire for rent control, it's usually coastal cities (the ocean is a huge land constraint).

I plan on calling tmrw to find out.This person living there had spliced jumper cables into the panel and was clearly climbing the side of house to connect to the power lines!!!

I've also been using homasote panels under the flooring as an alternative to gypcrete/concrete as its lighter, less messy and easy to install.
