For context, I'm in my 30s and while I'm healthy, my days of working back-breaking jobs for minimum wage and "exposure" are over.

Most advice I've heard is just to approach them after the sale, which in my mind is too late.  

Pricing and multi channel approach is very important nowadays

When customers really got disappointed they approach Better Business Bureau some even file through attorney generals etc.
