My goal is to at least double my units by the end of this year, and achieve full financial freedom for my family by 2026... though I'm hopeful that as I keep learning and growing, it will snowball even faster than that.

You would have freedom to invest and generate a higher return immediately with your portion while your bothers portions are invested by your parents generating income that would ultimately have to split with you as well.In other words the gift is win/win for you and lose/lose for every one else.

I'm speaking as someone who has earned freedom of time (which I value more than money). 

I am open to investing in different areas of he country but eager to get started down the path of financial freedom.

It's not a bad job, it pays the bills and provides pretty good healthcare insurance but it's not my passion.

I guess it's the denial of losing my freedom I've always had.

She's also worried the tenants are going to trash the properties..etc etc...So how can I convince my wife that investing in rental property is not gambling and is a great way to financial freedom?
