Paint, Laminate, Kitchen resurfacing/paint and basic landscaping.2) Do you ever get asked for contractor recommendations from clients that ware wanting to sell.If so How often?

I would be looking at something that only needs a cosmetic work...painting, flooring, etc.

Then opendoor would clean the home, maybe paint it, maybe put new carpet if you are lucky then resell your home for $400k in a week or two.

They owned the home outright and fronted the money, I swung hammers and paint brushes as much as possible.

My credit score is in the 780s.Because of my loss of W-2 income, I doubt my self-employment income from my 2014 and 2015 tax returns will paint me in a good light (since it was side work, I think my 2014 tax returns says gross was about $10k for the year). 

I would however have lots of subjects to paint, i feel sure!

But what about things like insurance, garbage, water/sewer, turnover like painting, cleaning, etc?

flooring, painting, handyman work basically. 

A simple fix and flip; clean, landscape the yard (in Arizona that means spread some gravel), a couple new light fixtures, and touch-up paint.  

Never hurts to ask at the local paint store what's popular now-a-days.
