I live in the Comox Valley but have been investing in both Victoria and Comox Valley for the past 7 years, condo and multi-family, naturally fallen into the BRRRR and house hacking methods, looking forward to adding more to my portfolio in 2022.Just wanted to start a new forum for anyone who might have questions about real estate opportunities on the island!

Lower start up cost and higher demand .Also a bunch of tax incentives for Americans investing on the island of Puerto Rico .

@Ben ThompsonSarasota, Bradenton and the barrier islands are saturated with STRs and it is causing a major backlash against the strategy. 

Any real estate agents work in Tybee Island that would be interested in chatting?

I start to look at different factors such as property tax rate, crime levels, rental rates, commute to work, whether the area is land lord friendly or renter friendly etc.

Their are a lot of us starting to invest and investing already on the island.

Might do something like get structural engineer to deem the house uninhabitable and a safety issue and recommend demo.
