The have a very good handbook that covers most of the laws you have to comply with.

Texas passed a law which limits HOAs a little, but they can still make it hard and expensive if you don't comply.

My husband and I actually pulled out and read through nearly every closing document we received and found the clause that outlines the loan expectations, and it turns out that we are within the loan guidelines because we complied with the one year owner-occupied rule.

Even though we've owned the properties for years in the LLC, we'll have to wait at least 6 months after transferring the ownership to us personally to comply with gov't regs.

We have an active effort forming a lawsuit to fight it...and I am keeping my places inspection ready so I can comply if we lose. 

Real estate activity; unlicensed personsA.(1) In addition to any other civil remedy or civil penalty provided for in this Chapter, the commission may issue a subpoena to any person or persons who the commission has probable cause to believe has engaged in real estate activity without a currently valid license.(2) Subpoenas issued by the commission shall comply with the notice requirements of R.S. 49:955.

Put them in their place or get rid of them as suggested.Tell the tenant that if they do not comply you can issue them a non renew or eviction order.

But either way you can serve a notice to comply. 

Are the tenants willing to comply with the showings of the property when you have people interested in the property?
