People had no idea what to do at stop lights, gas pumps didn't work and those that already pumped gas couldn't pay because the attendant couldn't take cash, the lights were out in office buildings and hotels, grocery stores were worried about frozen and refrigerated food going bad, theme parks had people stuck in rides screaming to get off.

Might have to look into this...I'm still over here getting a new card for the $200 off of $500 in the first 3 months and borrowing free money for a year lol I've always done cash-back and just make sure I use the card w/ the highest percentage for whatever I'm buying - I think Amazon is 6-7% back (depending how how fast you want it delivered), Wal-mart had a good one (5% back) there but I believe their partnership w/ CapitalOne just ended, Costco has a good one (4% back and I think 7% on gas). 

@Tyler Bushey nice try, those of us with oil are often a mile or miles from natural gas and propane is $$$ and even if you had gas if  you have one boiler it doesn't solve the problem. 

"My overall goal is to buy enough doors to supplement working full time so one day I can focus full-time on becoming an entrepreneur" It seems that his goal is to become a full time entrepreneur and that 150k sure could buy alot of gas and business cards.

The first neighborhood I would look at is anything next to infrastructure - if it has grocery stores, malls, gas stations.

Just musing ahead 10 years or so.With states now mandating the phase out of Gas/Deisel cars  How are MF owners going to attract and keep tenants that will now have EV's in the next 10 to 20 years ? 

I definitely don't make any money off the place, but the airbnb rentals pay for maintenance and my gas driving to and from WA :-) Question: Have any of you missed some either obvious or not so obvious red flags that would have caused you to negotiate or walk away from the deal and if so what were they?

This was the most high risk investment I've ever seen, and keep in mind I've done oil, gas & mineral exploration investments so that's really saying something. 

Gas is 4 dollars a gallon.
