Does anyone have advice on how to navigate the insurance claim to maximize payout?

I read today about the new Section 8 ruling and I'm looking forward to how people navigate this new ruling.

I would suggest consulting with an attorney to help you through this process. this situation sounds very sticky and you will need someone to help you navigate the process.

Any help on navigating this or something that at least points me in the general direction would be greatly appreciated.

I think Michael Ehmann provided a link above, but you can also navigate in BP to Network -> Events -> Atlanta (the event is Real Estate Connections).

For this to make sense though, there are some important complexities I'm not yet equipped to navigate such as how the tax credits transfer to new owners, whether appraisers would factor this into the value to preserve mortgage integrity, whether installers have better pricing for investors, etc.
