I've been listening to BiggerPockets for a while now, but am just now posting for the first time.Back in October of 2017, under the burden of a significant amount of student loans and the realization that corporate life isn't for me, I decided to make financial freedom my number one goal. 

Many people trade a "nice" car for freedom, which is downright silly.

I would like to start investing out of California in order to gain financial freedom.

My rentals allow for leverage and create freedom that I can't match in Vegas B&HI'm not definitely going to cash out, but it's enticing.

My wife and I are newbie's and are looking to start our road to financial freedom.

Economic anchors are things that are not going anywhere anytime soon, like state government, major universities, major health care centers, or manufacturers that are independent of the economy like military suppliers.I understand that the closer the anchor the better, but does it have to be in the same city/zip or can it just be in same county or next town over?

Like I said, I don’t believe there’s a wrong way, any investment strategy can lead you to financial freedom!
