I have a friend who owns several SFH in Japan, but you don't "really" own them unless you own the land - which is another can of worms.I have several colleagues who are married to Thai women and they seem to have good luck buying personal residences.  

I'm also looking for possible rental investments in or near my hometown in Tennessee (possible retirement location).I'm really looking forward to networking, and LEARNING from other landlords and investors in the area, especially other women investors/landlords. 

The presenter had the numbers to prove what you and your custom builder experience several years ago.Anyway, keep an eye on TREIA as there are lot's of good meetings including the general meeting, smaller localized subgroups, and groups targeting new investors, advanced investors, and women investors.

I had the piano lady who disappeared, the women who wanted to live hear despite over an hour commute, I suggested she check out the train first and  the one whose family talked her out of moving out of their house.

it was with that women whose husband had interest only mortgage on it...

@Dee Cee If you do go that route try to find one that is specific to realtors, women etc.

Maybe I will see you in late night infomercial as the next real estate guru superstar...sitting by a pool surrounded by beautiful women (LOL).

Both times those women figured out what to do with a household full of stuff and where to stay and were gone before the scheduled date.
