I am new to real estate investing (by new I mean lots of podcasts and reading....no deals) and have a realtor buddy who has been sending me possible deals.One came up recently that looked interesting and a good potential flip.The house is located in Pleasant Hill CA and listed for 499k I think it will go for more than that how much I'm not sure.

I've been pleased with the service they provide and their consistent feedback on all issues as well as faithful collection of fees and discussions of costs for repair, etc.I have the fail-safe of having permanent friends and immediate family nearby who can drive by the property to verify anything I might be nervous about... but you'll probably have buddies still in the area after you leave too.

what about starting your own dealership.. my buddies that own dealerships do far better than most I know in real estate...
