Not to discourage you, but we live in a shark infested investor area with a lot of transient tenants (higher ed/ medical) that drive investment prices. 

Occasionally a good tenant will ask to renew a lease for some specific reason - we had one that had to have signed proof of fixed residency for a certain period of time for their medical profession - but virtually everyone stays on M2M.

What about unpaid medical bills, credit card and other miscellaneous debts? 

Please make sure you have all your injuries documented in your medical record so when you get out you can get the injuries service connected.
