You can also have different glazings on the various pane (glass) surfaces to increase/decrease solar gain, reflectivity, UV wavelengths, etc. depending on which exposure (N, E, S, W) the window is to be installed.

I've never heard of a GC removing the cover of an electrical panel to investigate the circuit branches, which could help diagnose (without paying for a much more expensive electrician) where the problem lies in that "Broken Light Switch".

As @Aaron Mazzrillo said, the hookups can be expensive (let alone very city-oriented), so a lot of people use composting toilets (not smelly like it sounds) and solar so you don't have to deal with the hookup aspect.

Looked for highly rated stuff and compared prices.Got all ceiling fans online also.Got 5 flat panels TV's on eBay, they were dirt cheap returned and have been fine for 5 years.Essentially anything that had a decent ticket to it I shopped around and looked for bargains.Just got a terrific sofa / pull out bed virtually brand new off Craigslist.

Now with this may come with having to upgrade panels since some places still have old fuse panels or would only have 100amp.

There is carpet that needs to pulled up, some paneling to come off the walls and kitchen cabinets to be removed.
