I have also painted the house top to bottom, including painting the trim white, which was that orange pine 90s look before. 

There is also FourKids LLC doing a nice looking rent to own in there on Pine (I want to meet them), and there is that possible foreclosure on Volquardsen that I was going to follow up on and see what happened to it. 

Someone had been salvaging the heart pine floors and other materials. 

Pine mtn lake has an airstrip then sell lots off by the hundreds.These basically unbuildable lots make up the bulk of most California tax sales.And of course Florida did it also..

We did get the city to remove a big, dead pine tree from the front yard as we felt the integrity would be compromised by their sidewalk. 

In real they are getting minature sized gains.The expected returns (and sensitivities) are fully disclosed...there is no ambiguity.What do you consider miniature returns?

And those that live in Oregon of course think we are Oregon everyone wants to be US:) I still Pine for the Napa Valley though that was the best place I ever lived.. spent 10 great years there.Bottom line for weather culture fun and many other reasons there is a reason 40 million plus people live in CA....

I sold my Piedmont Pines home in 2015 and now want to reinvest in a duplex in this or the Lakeshore area.
