I want to be reasonable with the buyers but don't want to bend over backwards to accommodate every little item they want fixed.

There are a number of great contractors out there but there are still many who will take advantage of you if you bend over backwards to meet their every request.

With my recent refinance, the appraisal included crescent city, langlois, and north bend which is unfavorable to Brookings since our area is more desirable.

HI all. I have 4 projects on the go right now and my contractor is not able to keep up. Can anyone refer a good GC that would be able to assume a new project now.

Since I began working with partners, I have acquired a 9 unit apartment building in Berwyn (near where I live), a 20 unit apartment in South Bend and flipped a house with a different partner.

This is an issue that is very aggravating because so many people bend or break the rules. 

A lot of landlords do use low grade flooring, but most tenants can tell the difference just like you can, for kitchens I like the stick down tiles from Home Depot but with real grout, they are fairly inexpensive but look and feel like real tile, and are very durable unless you bend them, which if your floor is level shouldn't be a problem.
