Hey there, I'm avidly reading about wholesaling in Canada and I was wondering what are the mechanism in place to protect yourself as a the wholesaler if the buyer doesn't come through or if the deal falls off.

Our equity has doubled since we bought it 10 years ago and are wondering if it’s worth selling it for a higher cash flowing property in another market.  

I was wondering looking back did you come across any useful educational resources?

I had trouble paying rent during covid crazy (slow income non RE related) and wonder if this could have helped at that time.

I often wonder if the remote location (20 minutes up the mountain) is a turnoff and travelers are starting to prefer motel-like accommodations that are close to the main highways.

We mainly use it for laundry but don’t use it much otherwise.I wonder possibilities of doing STR for winter since I live very close to ski resorts.

This might work in a strong sellers market, or it might make people wonder what is wrong with the property to be priced so low (and then don't bother to go see it).While I like to price my listings in the middle range of what I think the market will pay, there are (for now) still lots of new agents that don't realize when you've priced low to hopefully start a bidding war.

Haven't had to exercise this quite yet but I'm wondering if you can have the same kind of stipulation where you're allowed to pass along costs directly associated with your tenants setting off the alarm if it's the same person repeatedly?
