About four or five years ago a new roof was put on (architectural shingles), new 80+ furnace installed, new vinyl siding, new 100 amp breaker box and a new front porch.

So I go over and check the breaker , then the pressure switch ,  they are fine , then I check the well pump .

Kitchen as an example....if you touch the electrical at all - which you will - you need to add circuits to bring up to code.
