It may be done where they are multiple marriages, children from prior relationships or other reasons.

However, it’s parked in assets that will be hard to buy back again and can be passed on to your children.

I've heard of (1) another investor who has private lender financing to fund 100% purchase price + light rehab + furniture with 5 year term at 10%, (2) someone else who has an institutional line of credit for similar projects at 7.5%, (3) another investor who was able to raise a blind 10 yr pool of money for corporate housing properties at 6.5%.

Based on what I could see through the windows, there is some furniture in the house but I don't  think the utilities are turned on.

I try to get to as many as I can but I'm a mom of 2 children with some time constraints.

Where a family can let their children play outside, with out fear. 

I would like to continue working as a Software Engineer and build a portfolio to pay for my children's college in the future, take nice vacations, and pay my current monthly mortgage.
