I'm really excited about having found this website and have already read one of the e-books.

You can capture lead information, pre-sell people, collect email addresses, get them to download an ebook, fire a pixel to retarget them for additional ads, sell them something...It's the starting point for so much online and offline revenue.

I understand that a lot of the ebooks, podcasts, etc out there talk about wholesaling as the place to start if you need cash (or don't have cash).  

Is it because all the free ebooks and podcasts say that is the place to start as a beginner?

Congratulations for having the good sense to know the best way to get started is by partnering with or bird dogging for an experienced investor.I can't tell you how many people listen to a podcast or read an ebook and think they know all they need to know. 

All this talk about Big Brother coming down on wholesalers emphasizes three words more than ever:Get Properly TrainedIt's the ones who don't know what they don't know and run out trying to wholesale after reading an ebook, listening to a podcast, following a forum thread, etc. and nothing more that cause the problems for the industry. 

Why do real estate investors create Ebooks about topics that would influence other real estate investors?

I suggest Sean Terry, he has a free ebook and a podcast.

I am already hooked on the podcast, and I have downloaded the UBG ebook.
