Speaking of manufactured housing, FYI there are a few companies ( up here in Vista as well) that produce panel homes .

I always have an electrician update the panels.

He was forced to fix some electrical issues in the panel and repair minor things.

What is everyone's view on panel walls? 

Is the knocking all a scam or is getting solar panels on your home 1) Worth the effort 2) cost me anything 3)how will this effect my home value.

Recommended replacement of water line to the house -water damage found in part of the ceiling with thermal imaging -windows lower quality old single panel, recommended budget for replacement in near future and quite a few more smaller issues.

There is no way to completely separate it from the main part of the house, as it also has the laundry machines, furnace, electric panel, and storage areas I need to access.

Contractor looks at electric panel, wiring in conversion, parking available in driveway, workmanship and can tell you what is needed to meet code.

Has wood paneling that is in great shape, just need to paint 3 bedrooms and do a quick remodel to master bath.
