Their experience?

Hi BP, As a newcomer to the real estate investment scene, I wanted to see if anyone had experience with Section 8 investments in Detroit.

Definitely ask if they have experience with this. 

It could indicate they lack sufficient knowledge or experience in professional property management, which may lead to costly issues for you down the line.

Confirm that the provider has experience with the particular investments in which you intend to invest your retirement funds as you very likely will have questions in terms of the mechanics (e.g. how do you invest in real estate, etc.).4.

Even if they do have 20 years experience...how do you know really?  

I’d love to hear your insights or experiences managing properties with similar setups in Pittsburgh.

After reading Brandon and Brian's book, The Multifamily Millionaire, Volume II: Create Generational Wealth by Investing in Large Multifamily Real Estate, I'm a bit puzzled as to if the GP's must have real estate experience, or if someone can connect enough professionals/companies on their team to execute successful investments.
