I would really like to have a bathroom and kitchen remodel completed before the end of April, and further down the road would need a detached garage built.Thanks all!

Hi all - I have a 3-unit multi-family property (3 bed 3 bath, 3 bed 3 bath, and studio) with an unfinished basement and an attached 2-car garage that I plan to remodel soon. 

Leaking toilets not installed properly, gaping hole in roof, holes left in siding, tile laid incorrectly which will need to be replaced, not installing the back splash properly.

This is the simplest method, but it also means your tenants are more likely to abuse the utilities by leaving windows open with the heat or A/C running, leaving lights on, ignoring the toilet that constantly flushes on its own, etc.3.

We remodeled it.

As well as that, property taxes in Cincinnati can stay low if you have a property that was recently remodeled and they are low in Ky as well.

You don't have any experience with having basic repairs much less remodels done.  

Much more cost effective, more units, less maintenance, no toilets or showers to deal with.  

But they leave out the risks they took and times things didn't work out well.Most people started with something they lived in just so they can lower their living expenses and save more money, rent out the rooms or the other unit so your paying allot less in rent and mortgage.Allot of people did the toilet replacements and maintenance themselves in the beginning because they didn't have the money to pay someone else.So find a decent deal and buy it, just get started.It's easy to see people who are at the mountain top or clearly letting their snowball roll down that hill and miss the decade(s) of wading through the swap to get there.All you can do is learn as much as you can from them and just try to roll your snowball a little further up the hill.
