Given that it’s the Catskills, snow accumulates on top of the roof for almost the entire winter season.I asked my RE broker to have a roofer come out and give an estimate for the 2 office buildings.

Quick question, I am looking at a rental in NH (where I grew up and my family and friends are) but I’ve had a few people tell me that you cannot evict tenants in the winter time and if you get bad tenants you have to bite the bullet until spring.... seems like bull but since a few different people have told me I’m now curious.

Tenant had bad credit which he explained (540-570); I wanted to rent the apt for the winter so I wrote a 6 month lease and explained we could extend if all goes well (lease dates Dec 1 - Jun 1).

I think the smallest bedroom is about 75-80 sq ft. as I have been saying there is economically obsolete ( many of these older homes that need more work than what they are worth on a resale basis) and functionally ( it appears building the cheapest home to the very minimum UBC code is a prime example.I had a rental up in Kokomo I dealt with that heat was too much in the winter and the tenant said either lower or NO rent or I have to move .
