This property needed an extreme amount of clean up and haul away of items left behind.

Often, the builder’s agents act as gatekeepers and may not have the information or authority needed to make decisions.

If the agent you work with is not familiar make sure the lender is, so you have someone who can confidently navigate this path for you.

Having a solid team around you like agent, lender, contractors etc.

Sounds like you need an agent and/or contractor based on your strategy. 

The extra income is not worth the disruption to our neighbors.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I do at times sell to dumb people with bad agents who will over pay for a property because of the revenue it generates as a STR.
