We have a group that meets down here in Southern Pines, Moore County once per month. 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:30-9:30ish at Hickory Tavern.

I guess the neighborhoods we are looking at are Pine Hills and Center Square right now. 

There is another one that I have heard some good things about and that is Pine Financial Colorado Springs Real Estate Investor's Happy Hour.

There are investors that are salivating about buying up land near downtown and turning into a miniature downtown Austin.

Every miniature homestead book talks about how useful they are for small-scale farming.

I've seen some interesting deals around Pine Bluff - store front on the bottom with a couple of units on the second story - but I didn't buy because, well, it's Pine Bluff and I don't know the industry there.  

I'm in Pembroke Pines and always willing to lend an ear.My best piece of advice is to figure out first what your goals are and what you want to get out of Real Estate.
