There are multi-families that I'm seeing will cash flow similarly ($200 after expenses) that are half the cost our town home was.Let me know if you'd be up for reviewing some specific opportunities I've analyzed recently and am open to any other thoughts you have on financing options for either of these scenarios!

I had never seen anything like that in my career but it seems to work we have funded half dozen deals last quarter..

Can spot that these guys would be stiffing people like that from a mile away.

One had a rap sheet a mile long for drugs and petty crimes from their teen years through their forties, and they were still on probation.

. ;-)  well working south side of Chicago  south jackson MS  Baltimore city  Philly west side I understand the risks .. and I am with my clients who are armed most of the time and when i started buying this stuff it was south of 8 mile in Detroit.. so understand that risk.when I bought courthouse steps in the PNW  Portland SW washington no so much worry about armed folks although that has probably changed with the housesless folks / squatters these days.

We have been using Showmojo for over a year and a half and I have been impressed with the on-boarding service.  

If yours is the only STR within 20 miles and there aren't any cities or larger towns within a 20-30 minute drive, you could easily run into trouble even finding a reliable cleaning person, let alone a full-service STR management company.I would also definitely take the time to find some comps on Airbnb in the same area as yours, with as close to the same bed/bath count as yours, and with the same finishes and amenities as you are planning to put in yours.  

I have a multi unit I'm only an hour and a half away and I'm so glad I found a great manager.
