Appraisers hang out in the appraiser's office and they are alot more fun there than out there working--a wealth of knowledge and they do keep up with everything that sells or is selling.

And no, it's not a scam.There is a whole section of this forum devoted to it.If you hang around this forum, you will meet people who make theirlivings buying and selling notes, buying buildings for next to nothingdown and then renting them out, etc.There is no degree needed for any of this.
