You will want to make sure the title is handled correctly to remove both husband and wife and also make sure the chain of title is clear and has no "floating" judgments.  

Business owners, investors, employers and entrepreneurs are targets now, and if you are unprotected, you can loose everything you built and worked for.

Senator Weinkowski has expressed desire to extend it as they do not want safe units to be removed from the market but so far I have not heard of anything getting approved. 

Make sure not  to get caught in small stuff like loosing 200 a  month on investment property :) It will pay off in a  year if your location is good!!

Every year we do it at our annual inspections, and without a doubt, we find some where tenants have removed the batteries, or removed the entire thing-- it's just common place-- tenants don't think safety.Another thing I'd say, and I'm surprised it's not legally required-- is adding fire extinguishers!   

Any insights welcome here and feel free to blow up my structure because I know I've got a pretty loose grasp on all the concepts here.

The police have removed them twice so far but they just come back.
