- Found a tall grass house in my neighborhood.- Wrote a letter to the owner.- Turns out to be a short sale.- Three lien holders.- Primary is Wells Fargo.- Seller's agent now repping both seller and my partner and I as buyers.

Heres how my appraisal went:- Appraiser drove by, took photos of the outside of the house, then the bank said they needed to come back to take photos of the interior (because there wasn't any grass yet, and a full dumpster in the driveway).- Appraiser came by, walked in the house, took photos of everything that was finished and looked nice, and then avoided everything that wasn't completed.- I got the appraisal I needed.

Sometimes I feel they put someone in the place and never inspect the place after that.I've come by when I get to town and find grass growing through a bicycle that was laying on the lawn.

Your dilemma is common, and fed by the fact that the Solo 401(k) is often over-hyped. 

"Why would they sell to Me" is a question when i talk to people. the answer is really simple, because they are fed up with the amount of work they have to do. a lot of people jump in to investing and have no idea what they are doing. 2.

That could be anything from grass being too high to plumbing needing to be redone to drug abatement.

@Matthew Wright, You're probably at 15% fed and up to 7.15% state of Maine. 

Grass, or landscaping that is renter friendly? 

Unfortunately, the example of the subdivided lot and the monstrosity/dormitory comes from a property behind my house that is fed by a road that uses an easement across my lot.  

I'm not a socialist, but health care is a special case where it would make sense for the feds to "regulate commerce" for the benefit of the people.And back to real estate...I hope your RE investments cover you in the event of a catastrophic health event.
