If you don't have an old "fix" with old acoustic ceiling tiles, you are probably fine.

Also I wish to clean and color the tiles anything specific I canbuy in bigstores such as Homedepot for cleaning and coloring.

The flip was extremely challenging - original plaster walls, original mud bed tile and lathe, heavy ciggarette residue throughout, complete bathroom framing and subfloor replacement needed, and a challenging layout.
