More than one bathroom makes a live in flip easier - you remodel one bath while still being able to use the other(s).A property with a utility sink makes it much easier to wash dishes than doing them in the bathtub, although your kitchen won't be torn apart forever.A garage to store tools is nice to have.Avoid the "weird" houses.

Some will do this in the bathtub; some will take them outside and hose them off.Frankly, for me it's easier to purchase the cheapo Lowes plastic blinds and replace them between tenants.Gail

During the first tenant I did have to replace the sewer line for $2500 and the bath tub for $1000 (don't just check the plumbing connections, make sure there are no cracks in the back of the tub where the shower hits).
