More than one bathroom makes a live in flip easier - you remodel one bath while still being able to use the other(s).A property with a utility sink makes it much easier to wash dishes than doing them in the bathtub, although your kitchen won't be torn apart forever.A garage to store tools is nice to have.Avoid the "weird" houses.

Do you know what product was used to refinish the shower tile and bathtub?

During the first tenant I did have to replace the sewer line for $2500 and the bath tub for $1000 (don't just check the plumbing connections, make sure there are no cracks in the back of the tub where the shower hits).

I know it would not have helped in this overflow bathtub situation, but I've often wondered if it would work nowadays.
