I've read that the VA lets active duty take out a second VA loan and rent out their current home if they are relocated due to the military.   

Tacoma/Olympia/Lacey have a high rental and first time homebuyer demand with the largest (by far) employer being JBLM in Pierce and Thurston county.I am active duty military and an independent real estate agent.

I'm from Houston myself, although the military has brought me out here to Virginia, I am returning to Texas soon!

My husband joined the military, we had to move, and our house value had plummeted.

This area is terrific for rentals and flips with the large military community and trending economy.

However, I'm hesitant because not only am I moving to a different state in 9 months, but my future husband and I will end up moving again in a few years & could end up living outside of the country (military life!).

I was not in the military, so VA loans are out.
