I have a package of single family house cashed out in the commercial loan department with my credit union. 

Then I spent 45 minutes on the phone bouncing around talking to different people within the department until I finally taked to someone who said I would get paid on March 15th.  

-Jacob Not a big deal, but what comes up is that typically you cannot use rent derived from your departing primary residence to qualify.

Does anyone know how to get a hold of the Caliber Home Loans REO department?

I still have a great relationship with that commercial department but they would laugh me out of the room (hopefully after I left) on a $175k deal.I'm 35 and I tend to lean toward bankers around my age.

Oak Lawn and Evergreen Park aren't bad areas, but Evergreen Park's building department is a PITA.

Why don’t you call the police department?

We needed a permit and to be registered to remit room taxes (the name of the permit eludes me at the moment) and we also needed a health inspection and permit from the Health Department.

I then called around to local banks in the area, they put me through to the commercial lending department, and they were able to provide the remaining rehab financing and some cash out (they paid off the original owner finance too and took 1st position).I didn't have a ton of experience but good income and credit.
