My wife and I are both active duty military stationed in El Paso, TX.

Being in the military we already had 3 properties in 3 different states and knew that real estate would provide us with passive income, but it wasn't until I went to a 3 day Fortune builder conference that got me fired up!

Need to rent in next 4 days Military move of friend.

I'd consider buying a distressed home to live in and fix up at the same time, but I plan to use military loans and I believe the "livability"of the property requirements on those are pretty stringent. 

I like the idea of being near military bases, as I know from my military experience, military members don't like to live on base or buy homes at there duty assignments when it is far from home. 

I will rent to military any day.  

@Cory Mccarthy Thank you for the vote of confidence but the number one reason stopping me from going back to school and finishing my degree, other than the fact I don’t really need it because of the training I got in the military, is that dreaded English 110 class I had never completed.

I moved here 2 1/2 years ago after finishing my military career.  

I currently own a SFH in Newport News, Virginia and plan on renting it this summer as I will be getting out of the military and moving out of state.

I'm a prior military guy.
