Join Triangle Apartment Association (TAA), and see who they have on their board, if it's a big issue you are dealing with. 2.

Where I will be working is a bit of a wash to be honest as my wife and I will be at different locations up there, but pretty much in the Pentagon, Quantico, Andrews triangle.

If you find a deal that looks promising on paper, I would recommend speaking with a property Mgmt company to get a pulse on what the average rental rates are in that area.I have been in property Mgmt for the past 12 years in the Raleigh/Triangle area and would be happy to help answer any rental questions you may have.
