You can go live in a refrigerator box as far as I’m concerned and I don’t care if it’s Christmas New Years kwanza Hanukkah or Groundhog Day If I could get the same returns in stocks I would go that route but I guess I’m stuck married to these idiots till they kill me  .

Each unit has granite/quartz counter tops, solid wood cabinetry, coil-top stove, 30” wide refrigerator, radiator heating controlled by each unit, 12x12 ceramic tile in the basement units and hardwood floors in the upstairs units, U-shaped stairs at each side of the building for easy access to both floors.

They often have rents below market so that their tenants will not complain about a broken furnace that does not get repaired or having to run an extension cord to the refrigerator because the circuit needs to be replaced but the panel is so old the circuit cannot be replaced.

I have done a form of house hacking with 2 of my previous primary residences via garage apartment (ADU) and renting a second master bedroom on the first floor of a townhome, we put a refrigerator and microwave in there (it had a private entrance, too, which was perfect).
