I'd also throw out that our STR's earn between 2-3 times what a long term lease would bring in; so playing devil's advocate to your original post—getting your systems in place to manage it as a STR now could actually move you closer to your goal of getting away from full-time W2 income.

For a genuine hoarder, 6 months would not be enough anyway, heck, 12 months would not be long enough since they have mental blocks preventing them from throwing things away. 

what do i do with all this junk inside the house and personal property can i throw it out without the previous owners permission or must i contact them about it?

It's fun throwing around numbers and percents and formulas but this is how you actually figure out your costs when you have a specific deal your underwriting.
