OTH, I think most of the seller financing issues are consumer driven, the banks never did have a slice of that market nor would or could they, and still can't.An HML type needs to be aware of such issues as they will be working closely with banks and will want a good reputation and working with the public, they had better keep fairness in mind as well.

Oh, I didn't say shut down the MLS, just shutdown the free public data feed.

Old thread, but I'll add my two cents....If you're an investor or savvy home buyer without a buyers agent of your own and trying to make sure the sellers agent presents your written offer, first use county/public records to find out who owns the property.

Sad but true statement, as this comes down to seller perception.
