It is a gorgeous gorgeous place here.Starting a working life in 1999 I was in the military working in disaster management; then a whitewater raft guide; then international aid worker; then writer; and then paramedic, all over a span of 13 years.Over that span of jobs but especially as a paramedic and before that as an aid worker in Sierra Leone I have seen everything in life without having actively participated in war.
