there is a reason this paper trades as such a low value.at least when you invest say with a HML right there in Denver your assets your loaning against are rock solid.. not some defunct little house in some little OHIO town that died 30 years ago and is never coming back..

I believe there are license allotments in many towns near and around Denver so you want to make sure there is a license available for the basement unit before you factor this into your cashflow plan.

Unfortunately, Texas has a law prohibiting HELOCs on rental properties and I believe they also have a 70-75% max total loans allowed on the property which cuts into the equity I've built and would only allow for me to access 30K which would make it less appealing to go through the process for only 30K.
