This may be true for (1) home with values so low that 6% commissions aren’t worth pursuing, (2) homes in areas most brokers don’t want to service (though I have owned properties in VERY rough areas and never had a problem finding interested brokers or (3) properties needing so much work to make livable that broker marketing would not be effective (much less common today with many brokers specializing in investment properties and many others representing investors as a part of their client base). 

Do you have employer-paid housing, or do you need to pay rent while you're in Aspen for 5 months? 

Call it what you want, I call it common sense.I'd love to keep arguing, but I've gotta go hire a few dozen people so that I can fire them and then blame them for it. 

Had I not known, common sense would have told me that 11% a month is impossible and makes no sense.

It wasn't the messiest thing I've seen, but still required clean up on my end which the clients weren't happy about at all.The third client is a self employed hair dresser and she compained of poor communication, inability to understand what they wanted form her and complete confusion over their payroll directions.For the price paid, I'd say the results were mediocre at best.

I've never done a partnership, but these are common issues that I don't often see addressed in contracts found online. 

Of course property taxes tend to be more expensive than interest payments where I live.The FED is supposed to keep employment low and inflation around 2%.

If you don't know what you're expecting to get out of any program, class, seminar, employment choice (Subto, BP, Tony Robbins, etc.) you'll never get your monies worth.
