Your only joint is the corners, which silicone caulk handles nicely. 

I don't like vinyl anything personally so on the really hardcore surfaces like kitchen cabinet bottom if I want to waterproof it I would silicon caulk all three sides, then brush a thin layer of epoxy sealer then a layer of liquid epoxy.
