I have owned a couple and as a recreational "toy" they are fairly expensive, I can't imagine the true cost of keeping one that others are using as "recreation".

@Jeremy Tillotson 8 acres generally is too small to log in the NW.. but I had a 11 acre one time I took 425k of timber off net to me.. so it possible but not probable unless your in the business and really know what your doing.8 acres for 20k in the NW is probably pretty remote... just guessing but it would most likely be remote .. and recreation would be the thing its for personal use not investment or anything like that.

To qualify, it is a quiet elderly community with grand old trees, full hedges, lots of greenery, good lot privacy, community pool, recreation area, and hardly a person in sight of the 100 or so units placed throughout the meandering network of roads.The unit is a '61 Travelite single wide, probably 10', maybe 12', with tongue removed, skirting, attached screened porch on slab, added on master bedroom, clean and bright finish with good lighting inside.
