I do know there is a LOT of new building going on about 15 minutes from me in the 400k+ in homes, but when i drove through the areas to see if i could find a builder to maybe pick his brain for business they had multiple realtors already at the model homes and such. 

Mary, keep in mind that if your target is likely a builder, they don't work on the same seasonal time frame the average home buyer is on.

Financially it makes too much sense, but in a country which still refuses to adopt the metric system there is the potential for builders to ignore this opportunity.

Hello, I'm a carpenter/builder moving to the south Florida area at the beginning of the year.

The insurance will vary based on whether you need a Builders Risk policy and vacancy coverage (which you typically need). 

It is now listed for $20,000 and getting some attention from local builders and other investors. 

I went to a REI seminar provided by Fortune Builders about a month ago, because investing has always been something I've wanted to do but never knew how to start.

I'm a small shop builder.

Are there any recommendations for contractors/builders that could provide an estimate/schedule and/or material list for similar work done.
