MIDDLETOWN, CT (WFSB) - A Middletown mother thought she found a home for an irresistible price on a trusted real estate website, but she wound up losing $800 in a scam.Lisa Garcia, who is a mother of three, had been sifting through ads on the real estate website Trulia for weeks until she found the perfect listing.

Since many portals are not run by real estate people they have a hard time sifting through the crap to find the great deals.  

So I've been trying to sift through all of that.

Renovated the lower unit and I am sifting through applicants to fill it now.  

Rather, the gold is already there, but you need to dig in a lot of spots and sift through a lot of stuff that isn't gold.

The drawback of the crowd however is that you get an over abundance of information of varying quality and the audience is left to sift through all the information and identify what is truly valuable and actionable for themselves.C.  

If I wanted to be more creative, I'd look for a residential multi-unit zoned areas and try to sift through it for lots which currently have anything other than a multi unit on it.

The data is dumped into massive databases and the databases then use logic algorithms to sift and sort and attribute the data.

It does appear there is a ton of information to sift through but that is a great thing!  

I need to sift though it all and I will over the next day and share what I find works for me.
