Talk with a NY lawyer about your plans and preferences and they can make it happen. 

They may have some lawyer recommendations.

Pay a competent lawyer/accountant $350/hr to deal.

Lawyers still have to think about the return on their effort which is why rich people get sued, not penniless people.I see others that are planning to do things that pierce the corporate veil.

I am not in the Los Angeles market, you will want to get referrals to a rock star eviction lawyer prior to the close.  

I can also save some more money if needed, reason I do not have as much saved is because I am in the middle of a BS lawsuit and I have spent six figure on lawyers but case should be over soon and I am hoping I win as the other party basically have given up.

@Kapil Patel, honestly I'm not too sure, you can speak to a CPA or a lawyer who specialize in taxes.

See if you can get CC's in on every email from the Section  8 office and the lawyers office.Everyday, call your PM and ask what she has done for you lately.
