Go to small local/regional banks NOT national ones.

Start by joining local real estate groups, narrowing your approach to strategies like house hacking or multi-family investing, and building a team of professionals like agents and lenders.

Is there a local developer/builder who might be interested in the whole package?

They could also call the local board of realtors and talk to the grievance or professional standards dept to file a complaint.

I have seen REI Hub recommended on here, but I am unsure of their ability to work with local banks, so if anyone has any experience they can speak of that would be greatly appreciated.  

Are there any local meet ups or websites on where to find more people who have a moderate level of experience meaning they are  somewhat experienced but still looking to collaborate and network with more inexperienced investors like myself.

I would say that the value he brings is finding the deals, doing an initial diligence, having a local team set up for renovations/repairs/property management as well as knowledge of the neighborhood.

They’ll let you know if everything looks up to code or if there are issues to fix.Then, head to the local building department and apply for the permits.
