It is easy to tear stuff up, and you will save a pretty penny if you do so.Go to the home depot, home emporium, lowes, lumber liquidators, everywhere and get your prices on paper.Labor is expensive, but if it sounds like a ridiculous number, it probably is.

You can also buy a Termidor spray foam product that will piece through sheet rock and you can treat inner walls as well.

The local credit union I'm working with to finance the deal has performed a $450 "real estate evaluation" (i.e. off-site, desk appraisal) on the property and arrived at a value of $110k.I questioned my LO about the appraised value and they admitted the scope of the appraisal was to formulate a "liquidation value," not a FMV.
