I can buy landlord insurance without coverage on roof (wind/named storm peril) but is it worth the premium?

Buying a nice place for 250k that's worth 250k is less sexy than having equity from day one. 

I think Natural Gas dryers have 110V outlets but electric only dryers are 220V w/30 Amp breakers, if I'm remembering correctly. 

Just remember there are less people that can afford the 1 million dollar plus houses than can afford the $300 to $400 thousand dollar houses .

I remember reading about lots of trouble with private REITS. 

Or maybe it was just some tax identification number, I don't remember clearly.

Finding an agent that knows the market and can find you properties that provide a profit (for both of you) is worth the effort.One more thing about the contract . . . be sure to read the ENTIRE document and ask for clarification is needed.
