@Danny RandazzoLots of “up start” conferences try to use perceived exclusivity and “opportunities” as a “speaker”/participant to drum up interest and attendance while they develop a reputation and track record as an event .

As Anthony said, it’s not as easy networking in that way but I did get a lot of valuable information from the meeting and was able to easily contact the speakers afterwards to connect and ask questions.

It was an ADPI meetup and to be 100% honest I thought it was trash with the exception of the speaker who was the accountant I use now. 

They have excellent content catering to Spanish speakers. 

Do your Sub Contractors have the ability to verbally communicate, with English Language Only Speakers?

We've been using a software called Remo- allows you to have virtual round table discussions AND have a speaker as well. 

We try and have some variety in the meetings and this one is a mixer (no speaker, no specific topic, just talking with other investors) so it will start at 5:30 and typically runs until the brewery kicks us out... 8-9ish.

I went to a motivational speaker as a guest of my employer some 25 years ago, and that speaker was referencing Think and Grow Rich back then.I still remember his words that influenced me greatly:  “You are where you are because you choose to be there.”The next day I quit my job (probably much to the  surprise of my boss who took me to the seminar) and headed out on my own.
